Competitive exclusion and coexistence of a two-strain epidemic model

This paper mainly investigates the relationship of a two-strain epidemic with different saturating contact rate. It is possible that (1) they may be eradicated together, (2) one strain may drive the other strain to extinction and vice versa. It is namely that the competitive exclusion principle holds. (3) these two strains can be coexistence under a certain condition which involves the invasion reproduction numbers. In addition to this, the condition of stability of all equilibriums is also given.
