Study on Lead Anode Slime with high antimony by Vacuum Distillation
The feasibility of separation of lead anode slime with high antimony by vacuum distillation was analyzed theoretically in this paper. The volatilization rate and volatilization behavior of Sb and Pb,which are influenced by distillation temperature, distillation time, times of distillation and system pressure, were investigated. The experimental results indicated that Sb content in condensate after first time distillation is over 85%,Pb content is less than 4.18%,and Ag content in the residue of alloy is enriched about three times at 1028K for 60min and the pressure in 4 - l0Pa. Pb content in condensate is less than 2% after the second time distillation at 873K for 60 min and the pressure in 4~10Pa. Crude antimony with Sb content above 93% can be available after arsenic is removed from condensate by vacuum distillation.
