Preparation of Lithia in Vacuum Thermal Reduction Lithium Process

Extraction of lithium by vacuum thermal reduction mainly contains two parts: the first part is the preparation of Lithia by the decomposition of lithium carbonate,the other part is extraction lithium by varied reductant from Lithia. So the high lithium reduction rate needs good calcined product with high decomposition rate of lithium carbonate. In this paper,the relationships between factors and lithium carbonate decomposition were researched in laboratory experiment,the decomposition rare were above 99%. The semi-industrial scale test was researched on the internal thermal resistance furnace. It shows that the decomposition efficiency of lithium carbonate could be above 93%,the calcined product meets the requirement of the next step reduction lithium.
