The development of researches on Double-Skin Facades

The definition and classification of the DSF were provided briefly in this article. The two frequentlyused modeling methods: the CFD and network methods were described and made a contrastive analysis. The current researches on the physical properties of DSF cavity from three respects: the air fluxion in the cavity,the thermal behavior,and the day-lighting of DSF,were presented. In the last part,It points out that the researches on DSF still couldnt meet our demands. In the respect of cavity simulation methods and some practical problems,there are more difficulties need to be solved.
