Compositional analyses and identifications of noise resources of the running multistage dry vacuum pump
To meet the strict noise reduction requirements for the multistage dry vacuum pumps, theoretical methods as well as experimental researches were performed on a sample machine. Various noise sources were discussed in details and then modeled to find the governing laws. Then a series of experiments were conducted to identify the noise sources of the sample, which play the dominant role on the noise generation. With the help of noise resource identification tests,it is clear that the amount of dynamic imbalance of rotors mainly contributes to the noises after disassembling the sample machine. To be further, the results of the experiments show the best value of dynamic imbalance for noise reduction, for the best consideration of cost performance.
