Research of Detection Technology in X-ray Security Inspection Equipment
From 1970s,inspecting luggage of passengers that get across the important passageway has become an abroad safety precaution in the word. These years,security inspection technology is developing rapidly due to the needs of airport security. In the methods of security inspection technology,low cost,low dose,noncontact,imaging x-ray security inspection equipment has been used most popularly. This paper reviews the main techniques of using x-ray to detect illicit materials. It describes the fundamental,advantages and disadvantages of material recognition in single energy system,dual energy,dual view system,CT and scatter system. Finally it gives trend of the security inspection technology.
