Study on Electrokinetic Electroosmotic Flow Transport in Nonoverlapped Nanochannels
A new theory is described for calculating the streamwise electroosmotic mobility based on the Poisson-Boltzmann equation and empirical equation. Our study includes theory conduction of nanofluidic transport of charged analyte in conditions of finite Debye layer thickness and low zeta potentials. Results show that the new empirical expressions are excellent agreed with the experimental data. At the same time,we found that the new model may lead to an accurate description due to considering selfconsistently the transverse electrical potential and ion distribution in nanochannel.
