Low-carbon Economy- Strategic Choice for Chinas Sustainable Economic Development
The paper based on Chinas current situation, analysts that Chinas export-oriented economy is facing trade protection, high energy consumption, high resource consumption, environmental damage and a series of ecological problems, which do a great harm to Chinas sustainable economic growth. Low-carbon economy characterized by low power consumption, low pollution and low emissions will be a breakthrough in Chinas economic transformation. To develop the lowcarbon economy, Chinas should convert Chinas economic structure from labor-intensive to technology-intensive from four aspects-energy strategy, institutional arrangements, technological improvements and international cooperation.
