The Design of Sensorless of PMSM Based on Active Control

In order to cancel mechanical sensors in the speed controller system of PMSM, a method of rotor position detection speed/position observation based on active control is proposed. It composed active control strategy of observer according to the error between measured current and observed current, then the rotors speed/position can be calculated with backEMF which is estimated. Simulation results show that the control algorithm proposed in this paper is simple, not only it can observe motors position and speed accurately, but also it is easy to realize, it has high steady state precision and dynamic performance.
