An Improved Algorithm for Eliminating False-Localization Targets in Multi-Stations Cross-Location
Many multi-stations cross-location algorithms would give many false localization points when multiple signals are impinging on simultaneously. Its critical to discriminate the real targets from the false targets. By analyzing a former method of eliminating false localization points with the selfcorrelation characteristics of the signals, this article shown its limits and improved it for practical application. Because the linear processing method could not distinguish multi-signals in the same beam, the method of array signal processing (ASP hi abbr.) to obtain the super-resolution estimation is used. Assuming that the number of all the localization points had been obtained successfully, this paper calculated the correlation coefficient of the regained signals firstly. Then, by the way of comparing the modulus of the correlation coefficients, the false-location points were eliminated successfully. The computer simulation proved its effectiveness.
