Image-Based Optical Mark Recognition Algorithm with no-Marked
This paper makes a study on no-marked Optical Mark Recognition based on images, to solve the problems of image rotating, segmentation and mark recognition. In this paper, we firstly estimate the background and detect the skew angle of the input image, de-skew the image before segment, the marking area segmentation based on project function which is transformed by wavelet for eliminating the noises and location the mark position ,give the model of the determination threshold during the recognition. Test result indicates this algorithm is effective for marking area segmentation and recognition, and is highly valuable applied in automation of information acquisition systems.
