Research on the Effectiveness of Infusing Nanotechnology into Electronics Professional Subjects in the Vocational High School Curriculum - An Example of Electronics Course
This research aims to construct emerging technology knowledge based on the learning theory for the purpose of training vocational high school students to be conformed to the teaching method containing the industrial need in order to enhance learning effectiveness of emerging technology and future competiveness. The control of pretest and posttest of varied groups via the quasi-experimental research method is using vocational high school students studying in the field of electronic as the object, to design and establish Nanotechnology knowledge complying with the concept of unit to suit the professional subject, and to carry out infused teaching. An experimental group (Electronics Class A) and a control group (Electronics Class B) of a vocational high school were selected via a purposive sampling strategy, for the experimental teaching was put into practice in the first semester of the year 2010. The control pretest was the covariate variable after MONCOVA, scores of experimental groups in the questionnaire of infusing nanotechnology knowledge into Electronics professional subjects in the vocational high school are better than it of the control group. Post hoc comparison, experimental groups were better than the control group.
