Linguistic Summarization of Data based on Intervalvalued Choquet Integrals
A linguistic summarization of data (base) is meant as a concise, human-consistent description of a (numerical) data set. Recently, the methods of constructing and evaluating linguistic summarization have been established based on interval-valued fuzzy sets and interval-valued cardinality theory. The main aim of this paper is to evaluate linguistic summarization of data by using interval-valued Choquet integrals. Two new methods are investigated, one is based on interval-valued fuzzy quantifiers and fuzzy measures, and another is based on intervalvalued fuzzy quantifiers and interval-valued fuzzy measures. Moreover, illustrative examples are presented.
