Traffic Signal Logical Rule Optimize Control for Urban Artery Traffic System

The paper introduces logical rule control algorithm which can improve the vehicle capacity of the urban artery traffic. Through the establishment of the logic rule control algorithm based on pan-Boolean algebra for the artery traffic, the goal is to achieve the Green Wave Control for artery traffic. By using VC + + simulation, which illustrated that the logic rule control algorithm is superior than the method of timing control by comparing, it Significantly can raise the vehicle capacity. The system can be applied in certain characteristics of the traffic signal control system of city artery traffic, and it can alleviate urban traffic pressure.
