The application and implementation of the modified tanh-sech method for high dimensional nonlinear partial differential equations
The so-called direct tanh-sech function method, firstly proposed in 2002 by Yao and Li 1, is improved and implemented in Maple 12 with the help of Ritt-Wus method. It serves to construct the solitary wave solutions automatically and sufficiently not only for (1+1)-dimensional but also for high dimensional nonlinear partial differential equations only when they are inputted and followed by an ENTER key. Furthermore, a lot of solitary wave solutions including some new or more general ones for several nonlinear partial differential equations were automatically obtained using the automatic implementation software package given by us.
