Applying Combination Forecasting Method to Predict the World Shipping Turnover

摘要：

The world shipping turnover play an extremely important influence on the shipping market and the ship market. And it is also the key factors in the research and the analysis of the two markets. However, the world shipping turnover is affected by a series of complex factors, and it is great difficult to use the normal method to predict the shipping turnover. In this paper, firstly Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is used to predict the shipping turnover and the Grey System (GS) method also is used, then the more accurate forecast result will be achieved by using the combination of two forecast models.
