Adaptive PID Temperature Controller Based on Fuzzy Logic
This paper develops a fuzzy logic controller for the temperature. A thermostat is an automatic temperature control unit, which operating environment is featuring by non-linear, inertial and time-variant. Traditional control can not achieve satisfied performance. There are nonlinearity、 time lag、 inertia、 uncertainty and so on .The advantage of this method is that the proposed FLC has the characteristics of robustness, In order to control systems that contain nonlinearities or uncertainties, control strategies must deal with the effects of these. With the development of intelligent control, Fuzzy-PTD control based on Fuzzy control develops more and more popular and makes a great process in temperature control. In the design, we use resistance furnace as control object, and use the common PID algorithm and Fuzzy-PID algorithm separately to control the resistance furnace temperature. The whole resistance furnace temperature control system design is based on PLC which Rockwell laboratory supplies and related soft ware and hardware. And using RSlogix5000 achieves our programming, which by continually changing three parameters in Fuzzy-PID control during the control process adjusts the temperature. And Fuzzy adaptive incremental PID control simulation in detail in the paper. Through simulation and experiments we can make a conclusion that the controller has a tight structure and also has a good reliability and practicability.
