Motion Simulation of Solar Cell Substrate Handling Robot

Solar energy is highly focused as one of renewable energy with the global interest and innovation of production process. To increase productivity of solar energy, automation line can be composed of many types of robots such as cassette transfer robot, glass handling robot and vacuum robot. For mass production and reduction of tact time, handling technology of larger and heavier glass substrate is the main issue in the manufacturing process. Therefore, position precision, transfer speed and vibration control is very important in the substrate handling robot. In the paper, the motion control simulation of substrate transfer robot is performed based on the tact time thin film solar cell production line.
