Analysis of Forest Carbon Sequestration Insurance

摘要：

with the global development of the Low-Carbon Economy (LCE), there has been a world-wide consensus on energy saving and emission reduction. Forest, as the lung of the Earth, is playing an irreplaceable role in absorbing and storing carbon dioxide. Recently, CDM projects regarding forest carbon sequestration insurance have taken actions gradually around the world. However, it is urgent for us to realize that such projects are still at the early stage in China. Thus, we attach importance to the diversified risks of the COM projects regarding forest carbon sequestration trade in China and put forward a concept of forest carbon sequestration insurance innovatively from the angle of carbon finance.
