Modeling and analysis for periscopic visual system of a type of self-discipline robot
A periscope visual system was designed for a self-discipline robot, through the two-dimensional movement of a preposed reflecting mirror, The periscope visual system simulated the rotation function of human eyes and expanded the field of view of the intelligent robot. We established a mathematic model for the image rotation caused by the preposed reflecting mirror rotation and analysed the corresponding relationship of the reflecting rotation and the image rotation. A solution is put forward to this problem and it can meet the operating requirements by experiments.
