Attention Assignment of Dual-task Based on AircraftCockpit Alarm Information

To attain general rules of attention between visual channel and auditory channel, the paper writes procedure based on E-printe software utilizing visual and auditory dual-task paradigm based on alarm information. The three experiments are all designed through Within-Subject Experimental Design and reaction time of seven subjects has been recorded. The datum that visual alarm combined stochastically with three different alarming sounds are compared with contrastive analysis, and the results indicate that attention assignment exists in the visual and auditory dual-tasks; the average reaction time is shorter when visual alarm combined with the single chime of auditory alarm, so it is the best match that red alarming light combined with the single chime; attention assignment is apt to visual channel.
