Intelligent Wireless Monitoring System for Foul Play in a Walking Race
To solve the problem of possible omission or wrong judges for human factor in a Walking race, the paper develops an intelligent wireless monitoring system for foul play. It adopts pressure sensors and strain transducers as the detector of the movements of race-walkers, mobile Ad Hoc network as its networking mode, and UWB as its wireless communication technology. Vacating foul and knee-bended foul all can be detected in real time and be transmitted to the judge PC wirelessly. The system is strong anti-inference, high speed-rate, low consumption and safety.
