Characteristics Analysis of Low Frequency Radio Wave Communication Channel Atmospheric Noise
The generation mechanism of main noise sources of low frequency radio wave communication channel was studied, and the characteristics estimation of lightning release energy conversion for electromagnetic radiation energy was theoretical analyzed. The research identified the roles played by the various contributing factors such as current peak, current pulse rise time of the leading edge, average attenuation time, the number of current peaks appeared in a lightning, etc. The method of estimating the atmospheric noise distribution was put forward. Research results indicate that the noise spectrum shape and its absolute electrical level depend on the characteristic of the frequency spectrum of noise sources, propagation paths, incentive modes, attenuation related with frequency, and the breakdown number in the effective accumulates time of a receiver.
