The Integrated Approach of Reliability Evaluation of Aeronautic CNS System Based on Multi-Layers Grey Theory
Aeronautic CNS (Communication Navigation Surveillance) system is a key technical support to guarantee the operational safety of civil aviation. The reliability of CNS system is an important indicator to express the functional situation of CNS system. Due to CNS is a complex intelligent system, this paper proposes an integrated approach of reliability evaluation of Aeronautic CNS system based on the multi-layers grey theory. The proposed approach relies on the practical recorded operation data, and adopts grey theory to the assessment process. This research focuses on three indexes, the probability of equipments integrity and normal operation, and time between failures, which are three key indictors of CNS system in reliability. Research results show that the proposed approach can illuminate the operational situation very well and meet the requirements of CNS system standards and rules.
