Recovering Use Case Models from Legacy Systems

摘要：

UCM (User Case Model) describes the requirements of software system in the consumers point of view. It gets a reinstitution of SUCM (User Case Mode of Systems) for LS (Legacy Systems), and can help the maintainers comprehend LS better. This paper puts forward a method of regaining the UCM of LS. Firstly, we can get some of the systems use cases on the basis of the systems existing functions, and then we execute the system and record corresponding to the execution trace due to the obtained UC. After analyzing the selected execution trace combining with the SSC (the Systems Source Code), we can find out the every possible execution trace. We know that every execution trace is homologous with one atomic function of the system, so we can get the systems UCM.
