Application of Combining Traditional IE Techniques with Computer Simulation in Production Management
The paper discussed how to combined traditional techniques of industrial engineering with the computer simulation models in production management, and described their advantages and disadvantages, then tried to combine the advantages of both in an enterprises production system for an example at different stages of the research; First explored the problems in production systems by computer simulation, then focused the problem to qualitative and quantitative analysis using traditional methods,finally Created new programs to improve production system under5WlH, ECRS rules. The combining achieved our target that less investment or no investment but only reorganization of resources to reach the best production efficiency. The paper advocated that we should broke the modern IE technology and traditional IE technology isolation which resulted by ensure the integrity of the theory, but ignoring it practicality as researchers solved problems in the past.
