A New OTA Based On FGMOS Inverters For Low Voltage and Low Power Applications

In this article, an operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) based on FGMOS inverters has been proposed. A two-stage structure, to achieve higher voltage gain is used. The first stage structure proposed has feedforward to cancel common mode signals and the second stage has common mode feedback to stabilize the output common mode voltage. This operational transconductance amplifier has been design and simulated with TSMC 0.18μm CMOS technology. The power consumption is 118.6uW with 1.0V supply voltage. Thus, it is appropriate for low voltage and low power (LV/LP) applications. Measured dc gain is SOdB and a unity gain frequency is 8.82 MHz with phase margin 45.

FGMOS Inverters low voltage and low power (LV / LP) Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) two-stage structure.
