On Collective Efficacy in the Competitive Ball Games
Since Bandura extended the study on individual efficiency to team efficiency study in the middle of 1980s, team efficiency has been playing an essential role in the team behavior because it not only directly influences the final behavior, but also influences other factors which also attribute to the final behavior. For a sport team, as a social unit, the effect of collective efficiency holds as well. This paper will focus on the study of the influence of collective efficiency in the competitive ball games, specifically its relationship with team cohesion and how it can be built. Accordingly, valuable inspires may be expected to help coaches improve the performance of the team.
