The Image Fusion Algorithm by Entropy Measure Based On Wavelet-Nsct
Wavelet Nsct is a multi-scale image representation combined wavelet transformation and non-sub sampling, which is featured with a good translation invariance and multi-direction. Activity measure is the decisive measure in the process of the image fusion. It will decide the degree of clearness through certain feature information it abstracted. The traditional measure, which is based on multiresolution fusion, only takes every level of high frequency sub-band coefficients into consideration, neglecting the information provided by low frequency coefficients. Considering the impact that the integrated high and low frequency coefficients measure has on the activity measure, a fusion measure was proposed. It is based on Wave Nsct conversion, and with mask derived from the low frequency coefficients added to the general measure. Finally the fusion images of different measures and objective performance evaluations are provided. The results show that the fusion result of entropy mask measure is better than several other traditional measures.
