Data Sharing and Interoperability of Geographic Information Common Platform in Digital City
Common platform of geographic information is one important mission in the digital city building, by which all application systems can make use of shared geo-information and thematic information coming from other departments and industries. According to Web Map Service, Web Feature Service and Web Coverage Service, the common platform of geographic information provides web map service, web feature service, image and DEM data service and so on, which are described by GML, KML and XML, using PHP, C/C++, javascript, xhtml, Web2.0 Ajax language and Apache web service in Windows Service operation system. Now, the method has been successively applied to several digital-city missions, and real application systems based on different platforms can real-time access data provided by the common platform of geographic information in the digital city.
