Achievement of a General Network Video Capturing System
The trend in video monitoring is digital, networking, and intelligent. Remote video monitoring over IP networks becomes more and more popular. It transforms the analog signals into digital signals and use IP networks to carry the monitoring functions anywhere and anytime. The core of the IP networking based video monitoring system is the video capturing software, which can be directly connected to the Ethernet and provides the functions of real-time video capturing, encoding, and transferring. We design and develop a general-purpose web video capturing device to meet the needs of applications. The program has been tested and evaluated.
