The Application of IT in Quality Management of Construction Project
Information plays an important role in the management of construction project, which is an indispensable part of a successful project management system. The construction project quality management is a complicated system; the article analyzed its characteristics and the necessity of its information management. Combining the method of engineering quality management with information technology organically ,establishing a set of quality assurance information system and developing vital function of the computers in the quality management can standardize the management of the architectural enterprises ,systematize and make it scientific , so that the engineering quality can be ensured. At last, it indicates the features of information management system must be suit to quality management, and it also presents the thinking of solving question, like virtual design and construction.
