Lake Management Decision Support System Based on GIS
Water resources play very important roles in the 52society.As part of water resources,lake has its impacts on the city.A lot of government environment decisions or individual choices depend on the local water environment;hence an effective way to acquire decision support information is essential.Due to its convenience and powerful functions,GIS makes itself a very useful tool in such conditions.This paper discusses the characteristics and functions of decision support system then promotes itself with a case in Wu Han,China,discussing the whole process of constructing a GIS-based decision support system.Result shows that the most important step of constructing a GIS-based decision support system is the establishment of model database and method database,through which support information are gained.
