Mission-Safety Analysis of the B2 Bomber

摘要：

In order to improve the ability to complete mission objectives for bomber,an analysis of the missionsafety about the aircraft is needed.This paper use the Patran software to set up models of the B2 bomber,and use the aircraft vulnerability assessment method to calculate the vulnerability of the B2 bomber when it is hit by gunfire.The results show the areas of the aircraft where is easily damaged when the aircraft is hit.For improving the capability of the combat survival,Some tactical maneuvers should be taken to make sure that these areas are not hit before the aircraft has completed the mission objectives,and protection should be added for these areas.
