An Application of Semantic Web Technologies in Intelligent Context-aware Computing Environments
The complexity of developing and deploying contextaware applications calls for intelligent software infrastructures that unobtrusively support to contextual data collecting,information sharing and security privacy controlling.In this paper,Semantic web technologies are used to the application of intelligent context-aware computing environments.The context aware common ontology,CACO is constructed,which can unobtrusively support to contextual information sharing and dynamically policy management.And the service provider and policy profile specifications based on OWL are presented.The experience and lessons learned when using CACO to support Smart-conference scenario demonstrate that CACO is effective to facilitate both the development and deployment of context-aware applications.
