An Effective Sentence Retrieval Model

摘要：

Keyword-based search is very popular in information retrieval. In this paper, this method is used on sentences retrieval which is more difficult. As the search targets (sentences) are much shorter than that in general IR (documents), sparseness is a main problem. An effective way to solve this problem is to do query expansion. This paper has tried several different methods to expand the query terms and then gives an effective method to the sentence level retrieval.
