Pipeline Integrity Management System based on GIS and Two-Engine Workflow

This paper describes the present situation of Pipeline Integrity Management and discusses the GIS technology. During the construction of PIM system, GIS has become the essential technology. Based on the demanding technology of Pipeline Integrity Management, we put forward a view of adopting the GIS technology in Pipeline Integrity Management business flow. And then we discuss the methods of the combination the GIS with the workflow engine. Finally, an application example is introduced to illustrate the proposed method.
