The Application of ANOVA in Study of Fluorescence Detection System for Petroleum Substence in Water
According to the spectral characteristic that petroleum substance would emit fluorescence as they are excited by light of specifically wavelength, a system for measuring petroleum concentration in water based on fluorescence analysis was designed. It adopted a pulsate Xenon lamp as an excitation light source, used a probe to realize direct measurement and used optic fiber to transmit excitation light and fluorescence. A charge couple device was employed to detect the spectra and accomplish photoelectric conversion. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and F-test was adopted to check the work curves for the ability of predict concentration. The experiment results showed that the system can realize the measurement of petroleum substance concentration in water quite well.
