An environment parameters monitoring system of large-scale henhouse based on ZigBee technology
According to the needs of large-scale henhouse control, an automatic monitoring system based on ZigBee wireless transmission is designed. The structure, principle, software and hardware design of the system are given in this paper. In the system, PC is taken as the master, many MCUs which are core in measuring and control nodes are taken as the slaves, ZigBee technology is used in communication, and so a master-slave distributed structure is adopted. Through the measuring and control nodes, the system completes the measuring of temperature, humidity, ventilation, illumination, noxious gas concentration of the henhouse environment, then the measuring results are uploaded to PC through ZigBee wireless network, and PC will give commands to control the henhouse environment after analyzing and calculating the data. By using the system, the chickens high production and stable production are achieved, so the productivity and economic efficiency are improved. It will be very significant to the development of modern poultry raising.
