A Novel Identity-based Threshold Signature in the Standard Model

Recently, A provable secure ID-based threshold signature scheme based on Paterson and Schuldt signature scheme is proposed by Zhang et al. and proven to be secure in the standard model. However, its public parameter size is very large. In order to reduce public parameter size, we present a novel identity-based threshold signature in the standard model. The proposed scheme achieves 50% reduction in the public parameter size, and is computationally efficient when compared with Zhang et al.s scheme. Furthermore, the proposed construction is proven secure in the standard model and its security rests on the hardness of the computational Diffie-Hellman problem.
