The application of ant colony-particle swarm optimization algorithm in sprinkler route planning
The cost of spraying and the vehicle moving time will be reduced with the optimization of sprinkler route. A novel method for sprinkler route optimization based on match of odd degree intersections with ant colonyparticle swarm optimization algorithm is presented in this paper. Firstly the route optimization is transformed to the match of street intersections with odd degree and the shortest routes between any two intersections are calculated with FLOYD algorithm, and then the optimum match of intersections can be realized by particle swarm optimization algorithm combining with ant colony optimization, finally the optimal route of sprinkler is obtained. The example of sprinkler route planning in LiuZhou city shows that the new method has a good effect in route optimization.
