A User Profile Generating Approach to Folksonomy Dependent on Cooccurrence
Enriched user profiles can guide any collaborative filtering recommender system to proactively discover and suggest to a user many resources relevant to him, even if he has not explicitly searched for them. Depending on users history cooccurrence tracks, people can make user profile more enrichment. And it also helps to improve the performance of recommender systems operating on a folksonomy. This paper proposes a novel algorithm to construct an enough content of user profile by tracking users history cooccurrence. It allows any content-based recommender system operating on the folksonomy to retrieve and suggests a high number of resources matching with user needs and desires.
