A Dynamically Reconfigurable Software Waveform for Cognitive Radios
Future wireless communication systems should be flexible to support various waveforms,adapted to changing external environment.In this paper,we used GNU Radio software and USRP hardware to constructed a low-cost but powerful waveform development platform.Set several tunable parameter knobs for waveform and designed an API to receive and parse waveform requested information from cognitive engine to tune the knobs.The finally tests shown that the designed platform can well to provide flexible dynamically reconfigurable software waveform for cognitive radios.
