It is well known that private SMBs have achieved rapid development since the reform and opening up,and the private enferprises have become an important part of national economy. But SMBs in China always face a severe problem of short lifecycle.Based on a survey dataset of more than 1100 SMBs in Zhejiang province, this article aims to explore the factors affecting the survival of private SMBs.By using OneWay ANOVA,we find out the significant differences between survival firms and terminated firms, then this article adopt Logistic regression to study the factors further more.Generally speaking, the bigger the firm is,the less family members in the management circles, the more detailed the market investigation is,the better the quality system is,and the more convenient access to bank loan, the higher survival probability the SMBs will have.
