SMEs and Social Service Environment:Some Evidence from Suzhou

With the widely recognition of the importance of SMEs,SMEs social service environment attracts more and more attentions from scholars and practitioners.This paper discusses the findings about SMEs social service environment through a survey held at Suzhou-one of the most dynamic cities on economic development in China.Survey data from 442 SMEs at Suzhou,focus on one of the key aspects of SMEs development environment-social service.SMEs assessments to it are analyzed and specific suggestions on improving SMEs social service environment are identified.
