Research on Growth Limitation:Why the Supermarket Established by Farmers Cannot Grow Up Successfully?

Since 1998,beyond 10 thousands of supermarkets have been set up in China by more than 10,000 people of Yongjia County of Wenzhou city.The farmer entrepreneurs established many small and medium sized partnership supermarkets,but few competitive largescale chain supermarkets.What kind of factors limit the growth of these enterprises? Throush case study method,this study investigate three supermarket business entrepreneurs in Yongjia and a comparison chain,and it is found that the constraints factors include that entrepreneurs separately open supermarket at different areas.Different supermarket has different partners;they are not enterprises with chain businesses.Entrepreneurs have no suitable human resource management,particularly lack of planning,training,internal promotion,and the payment is too low.
