An Empirical Study on Competency and Performance--Pump Manufacturing Cluster in Wenling of Zhejiang Province

摘要：

Taking pump manufacturing Cluster in Wenling of Zhejiang for example,an empirical study was conducted specifically on the interrelationship between innovative competence and innovative performance of the enterprises within the cluster.The methodology applied in the study was to set up unitary and multiple linear regressions where the data collected in a comprehensive survey were analyzed.The analysis was put on the aspects of R&D competence,element input,and innovative production competence which impact on the outcomes and/or performance of innovation.The paper ended with the conclusion and suggestions for the improvement of performance of innovation within the cluster.
