The Intellectual Property Rights and SMBs:the Relationship and Significance

Intellectual property rights are very important to businesses,as they are the base for businesses survival and success in fierce market competition.On the other hand,most of Chinese SMBs deal with OEM and their comparative advantage is low labor cost instead of capital or technology.Then why is it the high time to realize the importance of IP for SMBs and how can SMBs create their own IPR? Those are what this paper tries to answer.
