International Industry Transfer and Regional Industrial Structure--Empirical Research Based on Three Major Economic Circles in China
The path choice of undertaking International industry transfer mainly has two methods which are absorbing FDI and foreign trade(FT).In this paper, based on the data from 1985 to 2009 of three major economic zones in eastern China,we studied the relationship among the proportion of secondary industry (SIP),the proportion of tertiary industry (TIP),FDI and FT by utilizing methods of cointegration and Granger causality test. The result shows there is relatively stable long-run equilibrium relationship among SIP,TIP,FDI and FT respectively, and the growth of FDI and FT are the Granger cause for the variation of SIP and TIP respectively. Therefore this paper draws the conclusion that undertaking the international industrial transfer has significant impact on industrial structure upgrading of eastern China.
