Determination of Characteristic Point of Rock Kaiser Effect of Acoustic Emission and Application on Crustal Stress Measurement
Crustal stress measurement method of rock Kaiser effect of acoustic emission (AE method) is a promising method, which is simple, economic and easy to be used for a large number of tests. The key factor of using AE method to exactly measure the state of crustal stress is to determine the characteristic point of rock Kaiser effect of acoustic emission accurately. Through the comparison between energy law method and rescaled range time series analysis method by experiment, it shows that the results obtained from energy law and rescaled range time series analysis both can meet the engineering requirement. However, energy law method is more convenient for application. On this basis, the measurement results obtained by using AE method to measure the crustal stress in -1000 level west wing roadway of Tangkou Colliery have not much difference compared with those obtained by On-site stress relief measurement which is extensively used now. This shows it can obtain satisfactory results to by using AE method to measure crustal stress.
